About Us

Marie is a Derbyshire-born mum of two and nanny to a beautiful granddaughter, but whose heart, spirit and ancestry are steeped in Celtic beliefs and connections.

Bringing her children up to honour nature, the moon and the land around us, it was very difficult to find books that reflected their lives, as there were not many children's storybooks that were UK-based, so she decided to breathe life into the child that lived inside her head.

Rosie and her Familiars take us on an exciting series of adventures and learning along the way.
